Hi Multis
Live from Vail, the Overview Of The Week! It will be a bit shorter one, partly because I want to maximize my family time and also because there was not that much news this week.
Articles In The Past Week
This is the third article this week.
The first one was about Nvidia's earnings and if the stock is still a buy now.
The second one was an earnings analysis of CrowdStrike.
Memes Of The Week
This was the week of the Elon Musk - Donald Trump fight, so there was a slew of memes. Here are a few.
Interesting Podcasts Or Books
This week, I'm reading the new book by my friend Vitaliy Katsenelson for the second time. I'm a beta reader, so the book isn't out yet; don't look for it in the bookstore.
The title will be What A Life! After my first read, in December-January, the book has been rewritten completely and all I can say is that I liked the first version I read, but I love this new version!
I read 60% of the book on the flight to Vail. I had had a very short night before the flight, so I had planned to sleep on the plane. However, the book was so good that I wanted to continue reading and consistently postponed sleeping...until I landed in Denver without having slept.
If you are curious about Vitaliy's writing, you can always read his previous book, Soul In The Game. This is not a stock market book (although investing is mentioned a few times) but more about life.
Don't believe me, though. Vitaliy is a friend and it's hard to say something bad about friends, right? But trust the 338 people who don't know Vitaliy but rated his book 4.6 on Amazon.
The markets in the past week
Despite the Musk-Trump fight, the stock market kept chugging up and up. The S&P 500 was up 1.50%, the Nasdaq 2.18% and the Russell 2000 was the biggest winner this week, with 3.19%.
The Greed & Fear Index remained in Greed territory and barely moved.
