Hi friends
Happy Thanksgiving!
Even if you are not in the USA or Canada, today is a great reminder to celebrate what we’re grateful for: family, friends, health, the small pleasures of life, and the lessons that shape us.
Even though I live in Belgium, and Thanksgiving is not celebrated here (and is little known, unlike Black Friday), I'll celebrate it with my wife, our daughter, and my parents. We'll have dinner tonight together as we are grateful to have each other.
That's the real spirit of Thanksgiving.
Even if you don't have dinner together, you can stop and reflect a moment on all that you have and everything you can be grateful for. You can call that good friend to tell him how much you appreciate him, or, you know, to catch up.
Gratitude is also a key part of investing and especially if you invest the Potential Multibaggers way. Appreciating the winners can help you stay focused on the long term. Just like in life, patience and thankfulness often pay off. Sometimes, things look bad, like in 2022, but if you keep focusing on what you have and not on what you don't have, everything in life gets easier.
On top of that, being grateful is usually a recipe for success because you focus on positive things and that usually ends up with more wins, while focusing on negativity usually attracts more negativity.
It’s easy to get caught up in the market noise or compare ourselves to others. But true growth, whether in life or in your portfolio, often comes from looking at yourself, not others.
Take a moment to reflect on your journey today—both in life and investing.
And above all
A Happy Thanksgiving!
In the meantime, keep growing!
